As a paraprofessional and behavior specialist, Lurdes supports students with compassion, patience, and an unwavering commitment to helping every child succeed. Whether she is building relationships with students, partnering with teachers, supporting families, or coaching youth soccer, Lurdes consistently goes above and beyond to serve others.
This prestigious recognition honors the incredible impact she has on the students, staff, and families of Toppenish School District. As the regional recipient, Lurdes will now represent school districts across south-central Washington in OSPI's statewide Classified School Employee of the Year competition later this summer.
