RISE UP/SKY GEAR UP

The University of Washington GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness & Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) addresses the educational needs of low-income, at-risk students. Our grant currently serves 3 cohorts (ALL students of 11th & 12th grade and the recent graduated Class of 2023). The cohort model means we have the privilege of working with our students all the way to their high school graduation. Our goal is to motivate and prepare students to pursue and succeed in higher education.
